Troubleshooting

For critical situation monitoring Logging and Slack Notification have been added.

In case of error during Cron work or manual execution - there will be log entry in _PROJECT_ROOT_/storage/logs/laravel.log

Also, if slack notification is on, there will be notigication in the configured channel (see Configs)

I have any logs in Jira for yesterday. Notification in Slack says that Time Logs for a specific day wasn't imported

Failed export of TimeLogs for Date:_date_

  1. check server for logs - there should be an error logged
  2. most likely something with Harvest or Application has occurred
  3. use CLI to reimport Time Logs for a Specific Date after fixing the error in the logs (see TimeTracking Harvest to Jira Cloud)

I have time logs in Jira for yesterday. But some entries are missing. I have Notification that some log entries aren't imported to Jira

Error during adding Worklog for issue IP-139. Time: 258 minutes

  1. check server for logs - there should be an error logged
  2. most likely something with Jira Cloud User happened
  3. manually add Time Logs using the list of entries from Slack 
Slack Notification does not work.
  1. check is a notification to slack on (see Configs)
  2. switch on notification
  3. if it switched on - check Slack App to be active (see Configs)
