Mini Status Report Due to Budget Constraints

Hi Gabe,

I hope everything is well with you and your team today considering the unorthodox earthquake that seemed to hit rather close to your headquarters. No need for that to happen with everything else going on right now!

I mentioned to you and Ryan a month or so ago if we were to cancel any Status Calls that I would still provide you with a summarized status report that included the hours.

Attached is just that. I will be cancelling the status call tomorrow due to budget constraints.

As you can see, we are at a total of 77.40h. I have told my team to stop work immediately when I checked in on the hours today.

So here’s the question I have for you and your team…do we proceed with the deployment still? The only hours left are the actual deployment and the QA tests on Production the day of the deployment. This can be anywhere from 2-8 additional hours. Hard to gauge an exact figure.

Or do we stop completely until April and reschedule the deployment?

I did send two tickets your way but we can probably ignore them until April:

I know sometime this month you told me that the budget is going to be 70 hours instead of 80, but we already had the wheels in motion upon finding that information out. We are under 80 but also over 70 so I made the decision to stop my team and wait for your feedback first before proceeding.
