License 3: $249 + $219 ($468) (Savings - $279)

One important thing about pricing is to make sure we can set it up on xtensiongalaxy, since that's where this will be selling.
There are few things to consider when deciding on the pricing schema:
- Base price: template options - google, bing, share a sale. Current approach we're going for, is to have a bundle product allowing you to choose between those templates and allow you to download the appropriate extension package.
http://dev.xtensiongalaxy.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/8041/s/shopping-feed-bundle/ auth: rocket / web- Number of licenses: This can be set as custom options just like it's set now on RW site. Looking are RW sales, definitely there are people looking to install it on multiple stores, and having the 3 options in there, did made some extra cash. But we still can't control it, in reality purchasing 1 magento install would allow you to install it on as many magento instances as you want. On the other hand we have web agencies installing the extension for their customers, and it's hard to say on how many customers they installed it and whether they payed the correct price. On RW we have set a simple reseller program targeting web agencies, which just gives 10% discount out of any purchase of this extension. In reality we haven't had that many reseller requests, maybe because it's not well advertised.
https://rocketweb.wufoo.com/forms/google-shopping-reseller-program/- Support: Will remain as custom option. Matt MacDougall I remember we discussing increasing the support price instead of increasing the license price.
- Installation: Will remain as custom option. Should be a single fee.
- Upgrades and extending support. Right now this is done with coupon codes that we give off to customers when they ask for it. I'm thinking we should do a coupon along with the email to existing customers to upgrade, but still need to figure out which of the above fees the coupon will apply and how much would it be.
If we find ways to simplify the pricing I think it would be good, and I think the idea with Best Value option has the potential help with this. We just need to figure out a way to add it in the cart on one button click.

One thing to add to the price discussions, the Enterprise version (often times the exact same code) is significantly more expensive than the Community version.

We haven't increased the price for enterprise because the code is the same and frankly, I think enterprise customers may require less support time than community ones. I'm guessing the people we spend more time with for support as single or very few person stores and would use community, CE.
But ... everyone else is doing it so maybe it's something to consider.

Dorin Mirulescu I know GSF will soon contain a promotions feed. I see one of our biggest competitors is selling a promotions feed for 70 euro: https://www.wyomind.com/ ... can this promotions feed be sold separate like we'll sell bing? If so, maybe we should leave the base price for GSF at 199 and then have the promotions feed for 49. It may be a good strategy since everyone will see the lower base price but then they'll always want relevant adons that are easy to implement.

Matt MacDougall, although promotions feed is anther generated file, in the interface it is configured as part of the Google Shopping feed. So from that perspective it was not thought to be sold separately. But if we decide it's worth selling it separately, we could do it, it just needs few modifications which should not take more than a day.

Dorin Mirulescu we should definitely sell this separately. Sorry for only realizing this now. Having it built as a separate feed will give us the freedom to try selling both along or as a required option. Configuring this as a separate option will help it to stand out more as well. Wyomind charges almost as much for this feed as they do for their entire base product.

Got it, I'm creating ticket to make it as optional in packages.

I still need to think about this. Some developer came up to me and said, "I'm your best customer, I buy your feed all the time, charge the client $1500 to set it up and they love it."
